Large-scale magnetic field in the Monoceros OB 1 east molecular cloud

We study the large-scale magnetic field structure and its interplay with gas dynamics in Monoceros OB1 East molecular cloud. combine observations of dust polarised emission from Planck telescope CO line Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory 14-metre telescope. calculate strength plane-of-the-sky using a modified Chandrasekhar-Fermi method estimate mass over flux ratios different regions use comparison velocity intensity gradients polarimetric to trace dynamically active regions. The complex shows an ordered structure. In Northern part, it is mostly orientated along filamentary structures while Southern part at least two distinct orientations. find that filaments unlikely provide support against fragmentation large scales. Our analysis reveals shock region right in-between clouds which were previously suggested be collision. Moreover, seems extend farther towards Western complex. we either guides accretion interstellar matter cloud or was dragged by densest OB-1 tightly connected global and, dominated gravity turbulence, influences structuring matter.
